The Black Stars will take on Sudan in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers on Thursday, 10th October 2024, at the Accra Sports Stadium as they look to win their first game of the qualifiers.
Asante Kotoko goalkeeper Frederick Asare maintained his spot in the team as part of the three goalkeepers called by Otto Addo.
Left-back Isaac Afful, after a successful spell with Samatex 1996 last season and a brilliant performance in the CAF Champions League preliminary stage this season, has been awarded a call-up into the Black Stars team.
Isaac Afful played an integral to help Samatex win the league last season despite not reaching the Champions League group stage this season.
The defender had one goal and an assist during the Ghana Premier League champions’ CAF Champions League qualifying campaign this season.
Afful’s including will provide more solutions for Otto Addo at the left back position after playing Alidu Seidu at the left back position the last time out.
