Asante Kotoko Left Undergo Successful Foot Surgery

Left back for Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Esmat Abdalhamid Hassabalbagi has today undergone a successful foot surgery for an injury he picked last weekend in the Ghana Premier League.

Esmat Abdulhamid Mohamed sustained a foot injury during Kotoko’s last league game newly promoted side Young Apostles at the Obuasi Len Clay Sports Stadium.

The Sudanese left back who joined the porcupine warriors from the start of the season will miss greater part of the league, a huge blow for both the player and the club.

Asante Kotoko drew one all against Young Apostles at home in what was their second game of the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season.

The Kumasi based club will travel to Berekum to face Berekum Chelsea in week four of the Ghana Premier League who are currently 7th on the league log.

With a game in hand against Nsoatreman Football Club, Asante Kotoko is currently 6th on the league standing with four points from two games.
