Yussif Basigi Leaves His Role As Hasaacas Head Coach

Black Princesses head coach, Yussif Basigi has reportedly left his role as the head coach of Women’s Premier League club Hasaacas Ladies Football Club.

Basigi, who has been with Hasaacas ladies for over two decades, will join Tanzanian side Simba Queens in the upcoming season.

The veteran manager won more than five Premier League trophies with Hasmal Ladies as well as the Ghana Women’s Special competition in 2019, qualifying the team in the maiden edition of the WAFU Zone B CAF Women’s Champions League qualifiers in Ivory Coast.

Yussif Basigi won the WAFU Zone B CAF Women’s Champions League qualifiers in Ivory Coast and subsequently placed second in the tournament proper in Egypt after losing to Melamelodi Sundowns in 2021.

Assistant coach Maybel will temporarily handle the side as the club continues its such for a permanent manager.
