Hearts of Oak Ouattara Begs Fans To Rally Behind Struggling Team

Hearts of Oak head coach Abubakar Ouattara has called on the fanbase to rally behind the team ahead of their third-week fixture against Bechem United.

Hearts of Oak is chasing after its first win of the season after back-to-back defeats against Holy Stars Baseke in week one and Heart of Lions last weekend in Kpando.

Abubakar Ouattara, in a press conference, admitted that the results do not represent the standards of the club but will continue to need the support of the fans in Sunday’s game.

“We know the fans are disappointed in our last two games but we need them to support the team.” Abubakar Ouattara stated.

The phobia board has publicly thrown its weight behind head coach Abubakar Ouattara, despite the supporters calling for the coach’s head.

Hearts of Oak narrowly escaped relegation last season under Ouattara, and for many, the Ivorian gaffer is not the right choice to turn things around.

The continental club masters will welcome Bechem United to the University of Ghana sports stadium on Sunday.

Hearts of Oak will play home away from home with the closure of the Accra sports stadium by the National Sports Authority for maintenance work.
