The senior national team of Ghana, the Black Stars, has dropped six places in the latest FIFA rankings.
This follows the team’s poor performances in the last international break, failing to win any of the games that were played.
The Black Stars first hosted Angola in CAF’s Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers on home soil with the visitors taking away all three points following a 1:0 win.
Ghana subsequently failed to beat Niger in Morocco in the same qualifying stage with the game ending one all.
The unimpressive results have left Ghana on the 14th position in Africa and 70th in the world rankings.
World Championships Argentina still ranks first in the world, with France maintaining their second spot.
European winners, Spain are current third with England placing fourth after losing to Spain in the Euro 2014 finals in Germany.
The Black Stars will welcome Sudan during the next international break in an Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.
