Samatex Departs For Raja Casablanca ShowDown

Samatex 1996 has today departed Ghana for Morocco ahead of the second preliminary round CAF Champions League game against Raja Casablanca.

The Ghana Premier League champions drew two all with Raja Casablanca in the first leg at the Accra sports stadium, a result which leaves qualification still open for both sides.

Deputy captain of Samatex, Ebenezer Acquah ahead of the second leg fixture admitted his challenging the fixture is but will stick through to bring a positive result back home.

“It’s obvious that we have a challenging task ahead of us, but we are fully committed to putting forth every effort and utilizing all our resources throughout the entirety of the game to ensure the best possible outcome.”

The game is scheduled to take place on Saturday, 21st September 2024 at exactly 7 pm in Morocco.
