Felix Boansi Ghanaian football giant, Kumasi Asante Kotoko has adopted the Obuasi Len Clay sports stadium as their home grounds for the 2024/25 season.
This follows the temporary closure of the Baba Yara sports stadium which served as the home venue for the Kumasi based club.
According to the National Sports Authority, the Baba Yara sports stadium is currently undergoing a maintenance which could last till the next international break.
Len Clay previously served as the home ground of Ashanti Gold Sporting Club and remains the last clubs to host a premier league fixture at the venue.
Kotoko defeated Karela United on the road by a goal to nil in the opening fixture of this season’s Ghana premier league.
Asante Kotoko will host newly promoted side, Young Apostles at the venue on Sunday, September 22nd 2024 in week three of tPremier Leagueer League.
